Jennifer Godwins LLB (Hons), Solicitor
Jennifer studied law at Oxford Brookes University and graduated in 2012. She proceeded to complete her Legal Practice Course at the London Metropolitan University in 2016.
She worked as a caseworker in various firms for many years where she acquired experience in the areas of Immigration Law, Family Law and Civil Litigation, before qualifying as a Solicitor in November 2020.
She specialises in Housing, Immigration, Family and Employment Law.
She is the Housing Law Supervisor in our firm under the Legal Aid Agency civil contract. Her work includes:
- Homeless applications and Challenges
- Illegal eviction and injunction applications in court
- Preparing clients for possession proceedings
- Negotiating with social and private landlords
Jennifer is enthusiastic and proactive and praised by her clients for her empathy and support. She is a dedicated person who has also done voluntary work with refugees for the British Red Cross. She is bilingual and speaks French fluently.
