Child Arrangement Orders
The law relating to Child arrangements orders was introduced in 2014 and deals with the arrangements as to with whom a child is to reside, spend time or otherwise have contact. They replace the old residence and contact orders
Special Guardianship gives the holder parental responsibility, which he or she is entitled to exercise to the exclusion of any other person with parental responsibility
There is only one ground on which a petition for divorce may be presented to the court by either party to the marriage, that is that the marriage has broken down irretrievably.
The court procedure in judicial separations is almost identical to a divorce.
Both parties to a marriage or civil partnership can sign a written agreement about financial matters arising out of their separation without involving the court.
